Basant Madhur is a widely acknowledged Tabla player and a much-respected artiste in the arena of Indian Classical Music. He moved to NZ in 2002 and in addition to his many collaborations in NZ, Australia and India, is the founder of Sargam School of Indian Music in Auckland.

Born into a family of musicians, it is fitting that he will present this program with his talented, multi-generational family.
