Guest artists are invited from Aotearoa New Zealand and around the world to the Auckland Folk Festival held annually in January. A wide range of genres is always included and Auckland folk clubs also participate. The wide range of performances, workshops and displays result in an amazing level of creativity and colour that see fans coming back year after year.
Music and Dance Workshops
Be inspired by workshops hosted by local and international tutors that are always well-attended and appreciated. Blackboard concerts and Come-all-ye’s are packed to the rafters and provide a stage for performers young and old to share their performance passions.
