Project Description

The Britannic Bedlam Morris Gentlemen dwell in the Antipodean heart of the Cotswolds in the little village of Bedlam, or Wellington. Founded in 1882, or thereabouts, the Bedlam tradition of Morris dancing has become distinctive over the years. Many of their dances appear to share the general Cotswold origins, most noticeably those of the Headington Quarry and Adderbury traditions, and the Gentlemen are often likely to break into song.
